The Midori Bandwagon

I have just jumped onto the Midori bandwagon.  Or, to put it more accurately, I was pulled onto the Midori bandwagon.  Either way, I’m riding the wave of this awesome notebook!

I received my first Midori just a few days ago, as a gift from a friend (thank you!).  I didn’t know what to expect other than knowing people absolutely love these notebooks.  I know that people personalize their notebooks with pieces of creative flair.  I know that some use their notebooks for notes, journaling, as a planner, or random lists perhaps.

I had not a clue as to what I would use mine for.  I thought of a few ideas but nothing really struck me as the perfect use.

Until I saw the notebook…

Once I opened it, I knew I would use mine as a gratitude journal.  I got started right away.

I’m usually not one to add a ton of creative pieces to any of my notebooks, journals, or planners.  So I don’t know that anything more will be added to my Midori gratitude journal.  Of course, I have yet to look at the lineup of Midori merchandise either.  So who knows where I’ll end up?

I’ve also come up with an idea or two for a second Midori, perhaps one of a larger size.  I’m not entirely sure that that will pan out at this point, so I’m keeping those ideas to myself for right now.

I will be sure to post more on the Midori subject in the future.  In the meantime, if you haven’t yet had the pleasure of touching one of these lovely notebooks, I highly recommend it.

  1. Hi! I just found your blog by chance and I fell in love with it! I am so glad I'm not the only one who borders OCD and enjoys making lists, buying planners, and sticking post-its. I just love that. I've been wanting to buy a Filofax but I just didn't know where to start. I'm most likely waiting till Christmas so I can buy a "fancy" one (note: I'm a college student. So, yes, broke. Haha!) instead of just any one because I KNOW I'm going to love it. Your blog just made the itch get bigger, of course!

Oh, and I'm obsessed with your handwriting. Please keep showing us your pages, it's so inspiring! Again, LOVELY blog! Following now :)

    1. Thank you, Becky, and welcome! You are definitely not the only one who loves planners, pens, and notebooks. Check out my links tab for additional blogs that focus on the same topics. Check out Philofaxy (if you haven't already) for all things Filofax. You will find answers to all of your questions there, though I'm happy to help as well! You can also check out my Instagram and Flickr pages for more examples of my handwriting. ;)

Thanks for your kind words and for reading!
