Filo Pics and New Post-Its

Well, I managed to make it through the October Photo a Day Challenge.  I wasn’t sure I could, and some days, the last thing I wanted to do was take a photo, edit it, and upload it.  So I didn’t.  What’s nice about this challenge is that you can do it at your own pace—one a day, all at once, at the end of the month, every other day, etc.  I tried to do a photo a day, but when that wasn’t possible, I took the photos when I could and uploaded them when I had time.  It worked out splendidly.

And I like it.  I like thinking of my planner in new and interesting ways.  I’m no stranger to being imaginative with my planners, but following someone else’s guidelines is pretty fun too.  You can see the full range of my October photos on my Flickr page.  But here are a few of my favorites:

With all of the fun I had in October, I’m continuing with the daily photo challenge for November.  Once again, I’ll be following A Bowl Full of Lemons, this time the November challenge.  (I hear there are other blogs that offer daily challenges, but I don’t know which ones they are.)  I’m especially looking forward to some of the festive/holiday topics.

On another note, I just received an email from Post-It brand.  It seems they have come out with a new line of products—Post-its with flair!  I especially like the handbag (part of the fancy lady collection), the animal collection, the mustache (part of the dapper man collection), and the football (part of the sports collection).

I have not seen these in stores yet, but I’ll definitely be on the lookout!
