Stickers! (Part 2)…

…And a mini movie review

As you know, I had recently found some Thanksgiving stickers.  Yesterday, I was able to pick up some Christmas stickers as well.

Today was decorating day, and now that it’s all done, the only thing left to do is embellish on my diary page in the compact.

Here, Snoopy is celebrating with Woodstock While I like the Peanuts gang, they are not a group I actively seek out.  I have to say I was a little disappointed with the Christmas sticker collection at my grocery store.  But I was able to get them, so I guess I shouldn’t complain.

Here is the complete set I picked up:

The candy cane-type ones actually have sparkles on them, so that’s a nice little holiday bonus!  I just hope it doesn’t rub off on my pages and make a mess…

They also had snowmen stickers, which I think I might pick up next week and save them for use in January.  I am afraid that by then, there will be nothing but Valentine’s Day stickers, which I will use, but not until February.  Since I loathe that “holiday,” I don’t want to clutter January with hearts in addition to February.

In other news, last night I saw the new Muppet movie.  While the kids seem to enjoy it, I don’t know how much they were able to take away from it considering the whole movie was about how the Muppets broke up and are now getting back together in order to save the Muppet Studios—there were a lot of references to the old movies, and if you haven’t seen them, you might not understand some of what was in the story.  But, it was entertaining and had catchy tunes to sing along with.  Of course, it could never compare with the original movies, but these days, nothing is the same as it used to be.  In any event, if you’re looking for a fun movie for yourself and/or your kids, I recommend it.

I’m still working on getting my personal Malden up and running the way I want it, and when it’s finished, you will definitely read about it.

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

  1. You are making me so jealous with all these stickers! I have to do an update post on all of mine as well, but none of them are so festive! Maybe it's time to stop at the store...

And I'm glad you enjoyed the new Muppets movie. I don't have much desire to see it, but I'm definitely excited for the new Sherlock Holmes and Girl with the Dragon Tattoo to come out! I haven't seen a movie in theaters since summer!

  2. Aha, sorry, J - I don't mean to make you jealous with my stickers. =)

I probably would have waited for the Muppets to come out on DVD, but we took my niece as a Thanksgiving treat. I haven't seen the first Sherlock Holmes and haven't read the Larsson books as I have no desire to, though I have heard they are very good.

  4. Thanks, LJ. I looked everywhere for good stickers, except for the grocery store, and that's where I ended up finding them. Go figure. =)
